Preaching The Gospel vs Motivational Speaking (Pick One)
Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ under the anointing of Holy Spirit out weighs motivational speaking in so many ways. Biblically proclaiming the Word of God through the power of Holy Spirit convicts the human heart far more greater than motivational speaking. As a matter of fact, there can be no substantial comparison when viewed from a biblical point of view. The preaching of the gospel empowers the spirit thus saving the soul, but on the other hand motivational speaking excites the soul thus causing one to believe that they can be in control of their destiny in life. The transformational power of Holy Spirit is the power that propels God's Word into the hearts of mankind and compel them to change or reject it and remain lost of God's sufficient grace that save the souls of humanity! Also, preaching the gospel produce a holiness about God that give a human a choice to respect his word with a deep reverence. The preaching of the gospel provide people with the good news of what Christ provided for humanity at Calvary by dying for the sins of the entire world. It has a more impactive message of God's saving grace that saves mankind souls. John 3:16 confirms that impact in a way no one has to be eternally lost. As stated from scripture, "God so loved the world that HE gave His only begotten SON, that whoever believes in HIM should not perish but have everlasting life. (Good News Translation) This scripture gives hope to every nation, creed and tongue if it is received with an open and repented heart.
Motivational speaking only excites the soul of a human being in a secular or worldly manner, but the gospel excites the spirit of human beings if it is received into the soul and the body. Ultimately, as a result the triune makeup (spirit, soul and body) of mankind will come into alignment and a person can begin a journey with Christ Jesus that will last throughout eternity when this life comes to an end. The preaching and teaching of God's Word will give human being the dept that it takes to live an impactive life here in the earth as it is in Heaven. Motivational speaking seminars only speak to the secular humanism aspect in a person's life, which only reflected in the soul of a human beings. The soul and body only make up two third of all human being, which gets excited from motivational speakers. HOWEVER, the one third of all mankind that is most important is our spirit. The spirit makes up the part of us that is like God and it never experienced the fall of mankind. God created mankind to be spirit beings so that we can operate like Him in our everyday life while we journey here in the earth realm. Without the preaching of the Gospel all mankind can never live out this capacity in life, due to the fact, it takes God's Word to save our souls from the fallen aspect of our lives. Again, motivational speaking excites the soul, but the anointed preaching of the Gospel is the only weapon that can save the soul of mankind. So it comes down to, do human being want to be stimulated to be successful through a motivated message or do they want to be saved, changed and delivered through the preaching of the gospel through the power of Holy Spirit. Personally, I have chosen the latter as I press forward in my earthly journey ahead until Christ return. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only way to live the best life here in the earth as it is manifested in Heaven. The preaching of the Gospel give us the power to be changed into the likeness and image of Jesus through the love of Papa Father. Motivational speaking provides us with the ability to be successful in a limited way that is empowered through secular humanism which causes one to be pleasers of man and not GOD!
The Gospel of Jesus Christ places Jesus as God and HE is to be respected as the vital center of all things; however, secular humanism places man at the center of the universe. It deceives mankind to believe that they are in control of their world. This is the reason the preaching of the Gospel through the power of Holy Spirit is so important, because it defies this false belief. The Gospel causes the soul to receive the revelation that God is the creator of all things and He is in control of the universe. God created everything including all mankind. Mankind is here because of God sovereignty and not the other way around. Motivational speaking causes mankind to believe in self and positive thinking; however, anointing preaching of the gospel saves the soul and compel it to line up with the truth of who God truly is and what He has provided through the sacrifice of HIS SON Jesus on Calvary's cross. Jesus died so that all mankind could be saved and come to be children of the Most High God the Father. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only way, the truth and the life. It proves that JESUS is the Christ and the one and only son of our Most High GOD. If we repent of our sins and receive the fact that HE died and rose again, we can have eternal life and became sons and daughters of God the Father as well! I have taken the plunge and I pray all who read this blog will be compel to do the same. You will only become an overcomer in every aspect of your life by making this decision and reading the gospel, praying and seeking God everyday!
Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ might not be as popular as motivational speaking, but it is the power of God unto the saving the soul of all who believe it. Motivational speaking may promote the soul of people to be successful through positive thinking, but its no comparison to preaching of the gospel under the unction and authority through the power of Holy Spirit, which not only saves soul but also, advance God's Kingdom to reign over all the earth. Every soul who comes to know Christ through the power of the gospel expands God's influence in every aspect and arenas of life here on the earth. Motivational speakers may make more money through making people feel good and are more popular than preachers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but in the end preachers will inherit the Kingdom of God and ultimately the Crown of life. With this in mind pick the one you would rather be when it is all said and done on Judgement Day before God our righteous Judge!! Selah !
Lastly, now that we are living in the last of the last days before Jesus's triumphant return to take all born again believers home to Heaven it is imperative that we ask God for the anointing of Holy Spirit in order to preach and teach the Gospel so that mankind can be saved from themselves and their selfish motives. We are compelled to live as a witness of the gospel as well and also be a reflection of the LIGHT of it, so that others can be drawn to Christ through our righteous living. Being God focused is the only way that we can be saved from the despair of this fallen world. My exhortation to everyone I meet these days is to point them to the reading and studying of God's Word and in doing so we can be saved from this crooked and perverted generation. It should be the driving force in our lives everyday until Jesus return. We are compelled to occupy until HE returns and it is impossible for us to fulfilled this command without the gospel. I advise you to read it, study it, and live it so other can see the LIGHT and come to Jesus, who is the way, the truth, the life and most of all the LIGHT of the world reflecting HIMSELF through all true worshippers and believers! AMEN! SELAH!!!
