Choose Christ OVER YOUR CRISES
What is a crisis? A crisis is a situation in which something or someone is affected by one or more very serious problem. There are all types of crises. There are spiritual crises, physical crises, marital crises, financial crises and the list can go onward. However, we as believers have the Greatest Helper during whatever crisis we may face in life and His name is JESUS CHRIST!! HIS NAME REIGNS SUPREME OVER ANY AND ALL CRISIS!!!! Through HIM we are more than conquerors and though sometimes our afflictions or crises may be many HE promise to deliver us out of them all!!
In life we find ourselves facing challenges in some form at any point of our lives. I call these challenging moment crises. They can occur unannounced and on any day of the week or month of the year. How you handle the crisis determines your outcome. I have found that the more positive you are the better you will be able to overcome the crisis. I must admit that when I was a baby, immature Christian, I did not handle life's crisis very well. It took me a while before I gained enough biblical knowledge to process them the way the Bible instructs us as believers to handle them. First I had to acknowledge who was inflicting the crises in my life and through fervent prayer, biblical teachings and reading the Bible on a personal level, I became aware who was the real culprit behind the onset of every crisis. The Bible says, "stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. (I Peter 5:8 NLT) Look deeper into this scripture it says that he prowls around "like a roaring lion" and not "as a roaring lion", meaning he tries to perpetrate the power of a lion, but he really is not. JESUS CHRIST is the LION of the Tribe of Judah, so once this revelation was revealed to me through scripture, I had the solution to all my future crises. Though I still had some challenges at first, I started choosing CHRIST OVER ALL MY CRISES AND YOU CAN DO THE SAME!! It's a personal choice!!
The Bible says, that satan comes to steal, kill and destroy; but on the other hand we as believer has a powerful counter to this fact and it is JESUS CHRIST, because HE came in the world to give us life and life more abundantly. (John 10:10 NIV) HE also, is the way, the truth and the life and no one can come to the Father but through HIM. (John 14:5 NIV) Crises will come but we as believers have the power to overcome them all if we apply our precious promises from the Word of God to our lives each and everyday that we arise. His steadfast love never ceases, we have new mercies every morning (Read Lamentation 3:22-23a), so we can have success over any crisis each and every morning that we awake as believers. Through faith and patience we will inherit every promise, we must persevere through the power of faith when crises arises in our lives. Faith is now and through the power of faith the battle has been fought and the victory has already been won through CHRIST JESUS on Calvary and He sealed the deal when He rose again on the third day. Also, when the enemy comes in like a flood the Lord promise that HE will raise a standard against him. When a crisis comes my way, I am always reminded that JESUS CHRIST has promised that HE will never leave me nor forsake me; therefore, this promise is so reassuring and it enables me to persevere in the midst of the crisis until it is totally dissolved and dismantled through power of the Holy Spirit.
Christ is the answer for any crisis that comes to challenge us as believers, so we have to lock and load the precious promises into our spiritual arsenal each and everyday. That why the Bible tells us to "stay alert"! Crises are going to come but they don't have to destroy us, because when we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior, HE becomes the champion living inside of us. Our promises from the WORD is how we stay steadfast and unmovable during crises that arises in our lives. The world's solution during crises are handled totally different. They rely on man made solutions, but as true worshippers of God we can count on all of our benefits from the Word of God. The WORD Of GOD is quick and sharper than any double edged sword and if we effectively use our sword properly through the power of the Holy Spirit we can dismantle any and all obstacle that come with a crisis. Another powerful weapon we have access to during a demonic crisis is the power of the BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST. No crisis is a match to the might of the BLOOD OF JESUS and all we have to do is whisper HIS name and HE will come running to our aide to deliver us. I did not learn all of these powerful weapons over night, but through my many years of staying the course as a believer I have learned how to effectively win the battle over crises. Through faith and patience we as believers can inherit every promise from God's powerful word! (Read Hebrews 6:14)
Another powerful weapon we as believers can access over any and every crisis is the power of prayer and fasting. When a crisis seems overwhelming and overbearing, then it is time to step up your warfare through prayer and fasting. When the disciples asked Jesus privately, why could we not cast the evil spirit out of the boy? He answered them saying, "this kind can be cast out only by fasting and prayer." (Matthew 17:21) So, there are some crises that has to be brought down and destroyed through giving time to fasting and prayer. You cannot be spiritual lazy and relax when crises arises! Farther more as a believer, "you do not have any moments to be spiritual lazy or relaxed" when it comes to your adversary the devil, because he is always lurking around to catch you vulnerable to his schemes and evil plots. You are no match to him weak, so each day we have to be filled with the powerful promises from the Word of God and also be filled with the might of the Holy Spirit! Then and only then he is no match to you as a fortified believer. Remember this, Jesus has already conquered him and we through Him are more than conquerors. The fight is fixed in our favor if we apply the powerful weapons that are accessible to us as true worshippers of Christ Jesus. These are our unbeatable weapons!
The Bible declares that every since the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent men or women take it by force. (Matthew 11:12) The forces to eliminate crises are as follows: the promises from the Word of God, effectual fervent prayers, fasting, the Name of Jesus, declaring the Blood of Jesus over the challenges, and asking God to send Angel Armies to fight, etc. Also, don't forget to constantly invite the Holy Spirit to help you, because HE knows what to pray when we do not. Jesus promised that he would not leave us comfortless, so He sent the Holy Spirit back to be with us in the earth. He is our comfort, our guide and most of all He is the power that we need in our lives each and everyday. He can be there when no one else can; therefore, ask Him to come into your life to be your helper and your guide.
The Word of God is loaded with weapons through scriptures that will counter any and all attacks during a crisis inspite of its level of intensity. God's Word can whip any thing that satan brings our way if we only believe and apply it to the challenge. If we choose to search out the Bible for our promises, we can find a solution and an answer for any crisis we may be facing in our lives. However, we must be reminded that we can not win over the battle of crises if we choose to be spiritual lazy and unequipped. We must put on the whole armor of God in order to win during life's crises.
In closing, I pray that this blog post will be empowering to all who read it!! Remember, CHRIST WHEN YOU ARE FACED WITH LIFE'S CRISIES; INSPITE OF, WHAT TYPE IT MAY BE. HE DEFEATED ALL CHALLENGES THAT WE AS BELEIVERS MAY FACE WHEN HE GAVE HIS LIFE FOR US ALL ON CALVARY'S CROSS. THE VICTORY THAT HE ACCOMPLISHED ON THAT CROSS AT CALVARY GAVE US POWER TO OVERCOME ANY CHALLENGES THAT MAY COMES OUR WAY. NEVER FORGET THE FACT THAT WHEN HE ROSE AGAIN HE HAD ALL POWER IN HIS HANDS. WE AS BELIEVERS HAS ACCESS TO ALL THAT WERE GRANTED TO HIM BY HIS HEAVENLY FATHER. WHEN WE BECAME BORN-AGAIN AND NOW, WE HAVE THE RIGHT AND THE PRIVELEGE TO SIT WITH HIM IN HEVENLY PLACES EACH AND EVERYDAY. ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS CAST OUT FEAR, DOUBT AND UNBELIEF AND TAKE HOLD OF HIS LOVE, HIS POWER AND HIS SOUND MIND AND THE FIGHT WILL BE FIXED IN OUR FAVOR EVERY TIME! Selah/Meditate on this!!
Many Blessing Upon All Who Read!!
