Say What The Word of God Says and not What The World Says....

For the last few months, our world as we have known it has been turned upside down and the norm that so many of us have gotten use to is "no more"! We have all had to wrap our minds around getting adjusted to the "new normal"!! Whether or not, it will be short term or long term it has become a challenge for everyone globally. As I sat in my living room window a few weeks ago, having my morning "face time" with God. This is what I call my time as I pray and meditate with God each day. This particular morning, I heard Him say to me, "during the days ahead, say what my Word/ THE BIBLE says and not what the world is saying"! This was very comforting and reassuring to me and I immediately began to pray what God's Word says about my family and I during these tested times in which we are facing. When my husband called me while he was on his lunch break, I shared this revelation knowledge with him as well! He and I have always decreed the scriptures over our marriage, our family, our nation, our world etc. Due to the sudden shock and awe of the news that we had been hearing each day as the pandemic began to spread globally, we both needed this reassurance to press in even more verbalizing scriptures over our lives, our family and our world throughout each day. Now, every day, I say to him, "remember to say what the Word/THE BIBLE says and not what the world is saying regarding the times in which we are facing".

After allowing this profound knowledge, wisdom and understanding to sink further into my Spirit I began to see more revelation between the two words, world and word. If you remove the letter " L" from the word world you have word. I viewed the letter " L" in two different ways. The letter "L" in world to me stands for the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and pride of life, so if you view the turbulent days which we are facing from the viewpoint of the world, it's easy to go negative and drift swiftly into doubt, unbelief, depression and oppression and every other debilitating negativity that comes along with it. However, on the other hand, if you take the "L" in the word world and see it as standing for the word "love", you can view what is happening each day from a more positive perspective regarding the times we are facing in our world. God is love and since His word is Him, therefore; the love for His Word will be the positive factor that will propel each of us to a more productive place in adjusting to the days ahead in the "new normal" which we all will be facing each day. I personally have made up my mind to continue in my faith in God Almighty and His Word each day going forward. We must do as the Word of God says and allow it to be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path each day. If we read it and decree it's many comforting promises over our marriages, our families, our health, our nation and everything else that concerns us we will be alright!!! God is a God who will not and can not lie, so by faith we can rely on the promises of His Word to carry us through the good days, the bad days and the not so sure days as we all advance forward! I am committed as much as possible, to be encouraging to all who I meet each day as I am out and about in society. I know everyone will move forward in the days ahead as they choose, but we who are believers have so many wonderful reassuring promises in God's Word.

The promises in His Word are "yes" and "amen"! Amen, means "so be it"! I am writing this blog post, to encourage all those who need encouragement to pray, to read and to meditate upon the promises of Our Heavenly Father, which are found in His Word/THE BIBLE. His Word is quick and more powerful than any two-edged sword, separating the soul from the spirit, the joints from the marrow and the discerner of each of our thoughts the intent of our hearts-Hebrews 4:12. Therefore, if we will be quick to say what the Word says when doubt and unbelief tries to creep in, we can shift negativity into positive thinking or positive affirmation. Our flesh love negativity, but our Spirit loves what God says and His Word is the food in which It loves to feast on! Our minds will feast on fear and everything that comes with it, but through the power and authority of the spoken Word of God, we can bring every negative thought captive. The Holy Spirit will help us rely on the Word of God if we welcome Him into our lives and affairs each day we awaken. The Bible declares, "the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never comes to an end, they are brand new each morning-Lamentations 3:22-23. This proves how God is so faithful to us at all times and His Word confirms this fact each time we read His promises. So in closing, let the Word of God be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path each day you arise and also, remember the Word of God is quick and more powerful than any double-edged sword, so use it as your weapon to defeat the fear and torment that arises at the dawn of each new day. The Word of God will empower each believer to allow faith to operate in their lives over fear. Also remember, faith comes by hearing the Word of God!!

Remember this: FEAR = False Evident Appearing Real, however: FAITH = Forsaking All I Take Him. Therefore choose to forsake all negativity and bad reports, and choose all that God has promised you as His children through His everlasting Word. The WORD  of GOD and Love will never fail!!! This is a choice that each of us have to make each day. I too have to make this choice each day and with the strength and power of the Holy Spirit, I can do All things through Christ, for He is my strength and so can you.-Philippians 4:13. I pray this blog will encourage and uplift each who read it!!! I have been encouraged and uplifted as I wrote it. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ reveal Himself to us as we press forward in our faith in the days, weeks and years ahead!! His Grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect, when ours have been depleted, so rely on Him and His Word for enduring strength and encouragement in the "days of testing" which lies ahead. He promise that He will supply all our needs (not our greed) according to His riches and glory through Christ Jesus!!! -Philippians 4:19 Selah/Meditate on this!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be Strengthen and Encourage, Always!!!!!
