At The Side of Every Good Man; There Is a Good Woman!!!!!

In the beginning God created the man (Adam) and then God said that it was not good for man to be alone, so he created a helper who was just right for him after He had created all the wild animals and the birds of the sky. When God was finished he saw that there was still no helper just right for the man (Adam); therefore, God cause the man (Adam) to fall deeply to sleep. While the man (Adam) slept God took out one of his ribs and close up the opening. After performing surgery on the man (Adam), God made woman (Eve) from the rib that He removed from Adam while he was fast asleep. After Adam had awaken he stated: "This one (Eve) is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh! She will be called 'woman,' because she was taken from 'man.' God had performed the first marriage of a man and a woman and He further explained why a man is to leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two of them are united as one flesh. Lastly, he also gave the order of sexual intimacy for the marriage relationship, by sealing it with this, "the man (Adam) and his wife (Eve) (not his girlfriend (Evelyn) or his his boyfriend (Steve), were both in the nude and they felt no shame. Reference Scripture for this paragraph can be found in Genesis 2:18-24(NLT).

As you see God had a perfect plan in place for Adam by His own design; however, in the very next chapter of Genesis (chapter 3), the devil arrived on the scene and through the power of deception he caused the good thing which God had created to bring much blessings and pleasure to Adam to be the downfall of the both of them; due to the fact, Adam did not reject the offer to eat, nor did he rebuke Eve. God gave them freedom to eat from every tree in the garden; however, they were forbidden to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. This proves that God is not an extremist nor is He unreasonable. God is a holy, just, loving and reasonable God. Since he had given them the rights to enjoy all the other blessing in the Garden of Eden, it was just like Satan to used (Eve), who was created to be Adam's helper to become his worst nightmare. He deceived the one whom God had given to Adam to help, love and give him the ability to multiply his seed in the earth. As my husband's wife, I read Genesis chapters 2 and 3 often, to make sure I am not being deceived by the devil in anyway in our marriage and in our family as a whole. A woman can be an asset to her husband, but if she is not careful, she can be an upset to everything he is trying to build in life and vice verse. The devil loves to take what God has designed to bring us tremendous joy and happiness and use it to cause so much hurt and pain if we are not watchful and prayerful each and every day.

Whenever I see a man in life, who is being successful in the natural and in the spiritual realm, I take a good look at his wife, because she is his helper and quite frankly she has to be doing her God-given duties in a divine way. I strive everyday to be a good godly wife to my husband, because if I give the devil any space, he can use me to be a curse instead of a blessing from God to his life. I value my God-given place of honor, when I stand at his side whether we are at home, or in the presence of our four adorable children, or at church or at a company's event. Through studying the Word of God over the years, I have learned how to be a good wife to my husband and by doing so it has brought him to a place of honor in our home, at his job or just being in public. I want to be a woman, whom God can use to bring glory in the earth for an example and pattern for other women to follow. A woman, who is true to her God-given identity can bring her family, her friends, and the world so much joy, because God made women to be precious jewels, which He can channel so much good virtue into for a greater cause. Through finding and maintaining my place value when it comes to gender, I realize that as a woman I am given power to creates life in a beautiful way. My husband loves me for being the woman, whom I have become through God's perfect will. I am honored to be the one in our home who was able to give birth to our four children. I even love the fact that I was able through  the grace of God to be able to be an at home mom all these year, since I gave birth to our second child. I am blessed to be at home each day to keep order and peace in our home as I clean, cook and make plans for the greater good for each of us. My husband often tells me that if I did not do what I do at home as his wife, he could not do what he does each day as he work by the grace of God to provide for our family. After being married for almost 26 years, I have come to honor his role as my Godly husband as well. He always has work to provide for us as a family and I know that it is all because he knows his role as the leader of our family. As long as he and I abide in our God-given roles as man and woman we can trust God to continue to bless us and keep us as husband and wife and ultimately together as a family.

In closing, I am proud to be a  "good" woman, serving at my husband's side each day as he and I strives to build a Godly, home for our children, our sons and daughters to come and especially for our "adorable grand children" when they make their grand entrance into this world. To all the women (wombed men) out there who could have been a man but when God created you he gave you something that no man has the bragging rights to; and that is He gave you a womb and other female organs, so that you could carry and bring forth life. The function of the womb is what make us physically different from a man in every way. This was a precious gift to all women, because without us there would be no children to grow up to be mothers, fathers, doctors, lawyers, teacher etc. Women, when they value their place in the world and ultimately in God's Kingdom, they rock!!! God loves women and God's women loves Him and when these two components are into play, being a woman is a beautiful thing. I am thrilled to be a woman, who knows her God and is doing great things as my husband's 'helper' and his 'good thing' from the Lord and last but not least a loving mother to our four children!!!! As we do our part each day we as women must spend quality time in the presence of God through prayer and His word, to ensure, we do not fall into the trap that Eve fell into with satan. If we avoid that disastrous mistake, we can stand in honor at our husband's sides as an 'adorable jewel' sent to him from God to help him and never cause him any harm. I am my husband's God-given helper and I am grateful to God for giving me my place of honor at his side each day. I pray that every married woman, who reads this blog will keep valuing your place as a 'precious jewel' at your husband's side. Also, I pray that all you unmarried women will wait for your godly husbands to find you in the Lord. Each day I pray you and I will come to a greater place in our womanhood, through reading and applying God's word and through pray, because being a helper to our husbands means we are strong and not weak. How can a weak person be called to be a helper? They can't!  Amen!!!!
