Why Go To The King's Horses and The King's Men; Just Go Straight To The KING!!

When I was small and someone would read the nursery rhyme "Humpty Dumpty", to me I would get a little sad at the end, because no one could put him back together again; therefore, he was left broken and in need of repair. The nursery rhyme went as follows: "Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall; Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. All the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't put Humpty together again". The reason I was saddened at the end is, due to the fact; I do not like to see anyone hurt in anyway and not only was Humpty Dumpty hurt; he was broken and no one could repair him and make him whole again. He was left helpless and broken!

Now that I am grown, here is my take on this situation. First of all, why didn't "Humpty  Dumpty"  ask for direct help from the king himself? In life we sometimes find ourselves broken and in need of repair just like "Humpty Dumpty" and just like him we have a tendency to look to everyone around us, who themselves are just as fragile as we are and in need of being made whole again. We run to our loved ones, our friends, our pastors and church members and we still find ourselves broken and in need of wholeness. It's okay to have people in our lives who we can rely on for support and encouragement, but we must know that JESUS CHRIST THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN HEAL US FROM ALL OUR BROKENNESS,OUR HURTS AND OUR PAIN and make us 100% whole. We must have a balance in our relationships, because when the preacher is not around and friends and loved one can't be found we must know how to get in touch with the real deal, KING JESUS! He is never to busy; He never slumbers nor sleeps and He is never late; therefore, this is why I say; why go to the King's Horses and the King's Men, for they can only mend us; however, because of what was accomplished for us at Calvary's Cross, we have an open invitation to go straight to the King of Kings, Jesus Christ and He has all it takes to make us forever whole. He is omnipresent; therefore, He can be everywhere at all time; therefore, He is just a prayer away.

After I had my children and I bought them nursery rhyme books, I discovered that Humpty Dumpty was portrayed as an egg and you have to know that if you are as fragile as an egg, you had better go straight to the king in order to be put back together again. If you really think about it our lives are just this fragile as "Humpty Dumpty"  and we need King Jesus each day of our lives whether we are happy or sad or just feeling bad. He promise that He will never leave us or forsaken us and that he will be with us to the end of the world, if we solely rely on Him as our Savior, our Lord and King. If you find yourself in life in the same situation as "Humpty Dumpty", just know that you do not have to be limited to relying on the king's horses or his men, you instead can go straight to the King himself; Jesus Christ and he will mend all the brokenness in your life and put you back together again and you will be made brand new and whole. Remember: "The king horses and the king's men are only there to direct you to the KING HIMSELF and if they won't, well, go to KING JESUS directly for yourself through prayer and through His Word the BIBLE". TRUST HIM AND NEVER DOUBT AND HE WILL SURELY BRING YOU OUT AND MAKE YOU WHOLE!!!!!!

When my mother passed away when I was only 12 years old and my dad was buried on my 23rd birthday; my heart and my life was left broken and torn into tiny pieces and there were times when I thought that I would never be put back together again in my life time. To be honest, I tried to allow many people to do for me what "Humpty Dumpty" tried in the nursery rhyme and just as he, I was left broken  and torn in life until I learned over the years how to allow King Jesus to come and sit on the throne of my heart and become my Lord, my Savior and my best friend. Now, at 46 years of age, I can truly say, He is in control of my life and I am made whole; however, He is still working on me to bring me into a greater level of perfection in my life as I press forward in Him. Each morning when I arise from my bed to face my day I focus on Him and not them (His Horses and His Men) and I am confident that everything will be alright, because by faith I have the KING'S HEART AND HE HAS MINE AND HE IS THERE ALL THE TIME!!!!!! Meditate On This!

Psalm 37:25- "I have been young, and now I am old (older); yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging for bread."

II Chronicles 20:20- "Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be able to stand firm."

I Peter 5:7- "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."

Psalm 55:22- "Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you, He shall never permit the righteous to be moved."

Hebrews 13:6- "The Lord is my helper, so I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals (people) do to me?"

Psalm 9:10- "Those who know your name (King Jesus) will trust in you, for you Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you."
