When Life Gives You Lemons; Make Some Lemonade!! YUM!!!

There are situations in life that are very sour in nature and they remind me of the reaction you experience when you are eating a plain lemon. The acidity and sourness of the lemon can be very overwhelming and can cause a frown to immediately occur on your face. Sour situations and circumstances that occur abruptly in life can cause the same chain reaction that the lemon causes when the juice of it comes into contact with your taste buds. An immediate frown occurs and the bitter taste last for a while and when this same reaction happens due to circumstances in life they can leave you with a frown. Some days life can cause a sudden disruption of your normal routine and it can place you in a difficult position if you allow it. I have never tasted a sweet lemon, but when you take that same sour lemon and squeeze out the juice and make lemonade, your taste buds become satisfied and re-freshened, because when the lemon is mixed with the sugar and water, it creates a very refreshing sensation to your brain and your taste buds allow you to enjoy the refreshing results. When life's sour moments come upon you, despite of the time of day or night, you must find a way to alter them into something rewarding and refreshing to your soul. The only way to do this is by applying God's word to life's difficult moments. Once God's word is applied to our sour situations in life, we can begin to experience a refreshing feeling throughout our entire being. God's word can take sour situations and turn them into a sweet refreshing breakthrough if it is applied with faith. Faith causes us to believe inspite of what we may be experiencing at the moment. Faith in God's promises through His word will make our sour situation and circumstances in life turn around for our greater good if we will just trust, hope and believe.

The next time you are faced with a sour dilemma in life, give God's word a chance to turn your  situation into something that is sweet and refreshing in your life. God's word is sweeter than honey, so how can life stay sour as a lemon when you have His word to turn your sour situations into something sweet and wonderful for the glory of His Kingdom! Again, when life gives you lemons; make some lemonade. YUM! YUM!!
